About.
Hello there, my name is Gustavs Steinbergs. I work as a Technical Business Analyst, and I write here about making generative AI useful in enterprise work.
My background is a combination of technical and business skills. That mix allows me to sit with developers to understand what's technically feasible, while keeping a business and strategy lens on the process as a whole. From there I can help figure out how AI can actually improve the way people work.
In practice this has meant driving GenAI adoption across a department of about 50 people, designing technical upskilling tracks as part of a ~350-person initiative, and helping grow GitHub Copilot usage by more than 400% in my department.
This blog is built on that work. I use it to share the learnings and insights I've gained along the way, and as a place to explore and experiment with what's possible with generative AI.
How this will help you
The goal of this blog is to help you put generative AI to work on real processes, using what is actually useful rather than what was just announced. I want to keep the ideas here simple, useful, and pragmatic.
The topics here should allow you to gain AI Literacy in a paced way, get a sense of what's possible, and then apply it to your own work.
If you want to get in touch, LinkedIn is the best place.
